Wabash Construction

Wabash Construction was founded in 1989 in Boston, Massachusetts.   It was named in honor of Wabash College where owner Kevin McCrea received his degrees in physics and philosophy.

Just as Wabash College only had one rule for its students, the Gentleman’s Rule:   that you should act and present yourself as a gentleman at all times, Wabash Construction has one rule:   to treat our clients with professionalism, honesty, and our best effort possible.

We firmly believe that our philosophy of treating the customer as we would like to be treated has allowed us to become so successful.   We specialize in historic renovations in the Boston area, but we have also built restaurants, car washes, new suburban additions as well as commercial and institutional work.   We welcome a challenge!

Wabash also firmly believes in supporting the community it serves.   We have worked with the New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans for over a decade, and have recently started working with ABCD helping youngsters get their start in the construction field.    After Hurricane Katrina, Wabash spent 2 years helping to rebuild the Gulf Coast with both Habitat for Humanity and with local homeowners.   We ended up buying an historic home and renovating it in the Irish Channel neighborhood of New Orleans.   Closer to home in the South End, we have been long time coaches and supporters of South End Baseball.

We are general contractors specializing in difficult projects that make dreams come true.   We are on site from start to finish, and coordinate all phases of the construction project.    Our customers become our friends, and we look forward to the next project with them.

We look forward to working with you!
